So, the sun is finally out and it is finally time to enjoy our vehicles.  We have recently got in some new cars and there is some on their way in. A Bentley Continental S3 Coupe from the coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward. This is a very rare car that you have an opportunity to get your hands on this one for a very reasonable price. It is in need of a little TLC but definitely has potential of becoming a serious collector. Every euro you spend on this car you will have back with interest on the day you part with it. This car can be seen under "Cars for sale" already, or in our showroom in Löddeköpinge, Sweden.

Next is an Indisch rot Porsche 911 SC built in 1978. This is a car that was first delivered to somebody working at the Porsche factory. It is a very original and unmolested classic 911, and that is hard to find these days. Looks excellent and runs beautifully.

And also next week we have just in time for summer a Jaguar E-type convertible in a great color combination. The E-type is one of the most beautiful cars in the world and this one is no exception. It is a series two that was restored some 12 years ago and has held up very nicely. Can be seen next week in Bodensee Klassikwelt.

This year the Stuttgart Retro Classic show and Techno Classica show took place on the same weekend. This was very disappointning for all of us in the classic car business. We chose to come to Essen since it was much closer for us. First of all, we would like to thank all new and old customers, friends who came by to visit us during the show.

We have participated in Essen for 7 years in a row but this year we felt it was a little bit slower than usual and the "Verkauft" signs were just not that frequently seen as previous years. However, what would you expect when two shows in this size were held on the same weekend? There were definitely some good deals to make in Essen.

Auction action in Essen was delivered by Coys and there were plenty of interesting cars and some I thought were certainly sold for reasonable money. The next international event we are coming to will be Klassikwelt Bodensee in May. We are looking forward to seeing some of you there. You can see more pictures from Essen here.

Spring is around the corner (even in Sweden!) and the interest to buy classic and sports cars seems to be bigger ever. We have some new cars on their way in.
BMW 850 Coupe, Ferrari 328, and a prewar Studebaker.  If you have any interest in any of these, please let us know before we advertise them.

bmw 850

This BMW 850 Coupe is a very late 1997 and we do not think you will find a later produced in Sweden. Excellent condition with 160,000km

ferrari 328

The Ferrari 328 GTS is starting to gain collector status and is climbing in value. Here is a very nice example now in our showroom and it has covered just a little more than 50,000km!

We will be getting in a Jaguar XK 150 this week. Just like the name indicates, it is a relative to XK 120 and XK 140. It was produced from 1957 to 1961. This car was restored in Germany about 20 years ago. Now 2,000km later, it is still a very nice car, that drives wonderfully. Have a look in classic cars for sale at all the pictures taken on this very cold winter afternoon. This is a Jaguar XK for driving.

If you have recieved an e-mail about this blog post, it is for the reason that you have some time during 2011 signed up for a newsletter from Angels Sports & Classic. I am sure you have been waiting in anticipation for the first newsletter that never came. Instead, we are now introducing a blog for news about classic or sports cars that are on the way in. And this week, we are getting a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta born in 1997. Next week, there will be all information about this
car in the “Cars For Sale” section, including a picture gallery. The Berlinetta is considered by many to be the purest of the models. With a solid roof, which is of course structural, it offers the greatest rigidity and therefore the best handling of all models.

Classic car rally in Thailand

Every year in December, there is a vintage car parade starting in Bangkok and ending in Hua Hin which is a 2-hour drive south of Bangkok with a normal car. If you want to see them leaving from Bangkok, you have to get up early since they depart at 08.00 am. Also, I have heard there are a lot more classic cars in Hua Hin coming to join the event. I have a hard time seeing myself driving a classic car in Bangkok traffic and heat but this morning it was actually cool. The cars participating were all in very good condition. At the starting line, you could find two Alfa Romeo Duettos, Mercedes 280SE Coupe, Rolls Royce Corniche and a stunning Rolls Royce Silver Dawn 1950. Two Germans were driving a Porsche Speedster. A Jaguar XJC in very nice condition. A Mercedes 220S Ponton Convertible and one 280SE Convertible. Last came a Jaguar MK2 with a Land Rover as a rescue car, or perhaps it was the other way around!

There are a lot of classic cars in Thailand.

However, do not expect to find any bargains. Both new and old cars are much more expensive here than in Europe due to the high import tax of cars. For exampel, the new Bentley Mulsanne costs a staggering 33m baht in Thailand and that is equal to about 800,000€. In Germany, it cost 350,000€ on a good day. Look in the classic car photo gallery to see all the pictures from this event click here.

Hi and welcome to the new blog. Here, we will be posting news about cars that are on their way in, our thoughts on the classic car market and much more. If you have been here before you can see that the website is now in stage 2 and there are still some things we are currently working on. This blog will always be in English but the rest of the website will be available in Swedish and German soon. In December and January, it is usually very quiet in our business since the climate at least up here in Scandinavia is not so pleasant this time of the year. Therefore, for this reason I, Michael, flee to our winter residence in Thailand but my partner, Kjell Engman, is still on duty if anyone would like to come by. We will however be closed over Christmas and New Year. Next time, I will tell you about a classic car scene here in Thailand and a rally from Bangkok to Hua Hin that I've just seen.
